I have for the first time edited the comment of a participant replacing a large portion of the text with the notice [edited out by moderator]. This comment already appeared on a few other websites in the last weeks. The censored portion here was directly attacking a person using a fuzzy language that could easily be interpreted as diffamatory.
To protect this site, its participants, its moderators and the general administration, no message with diffamatory connotation will be tolerated on this site. Depending on the case and the length of the message, a message with diffamatory connotation will be edited by a moderator if it's possible to keep the remaining's text meaning, otherwise it will be deleted. No warning will be sent.
Moderation only applies to messages and not to participants, since it's impossible to determine automatically with a reasonable degree of confidence the identity of a participant. One can hide his IP address with a proxy, use a collegue's or a friend's computer, ask an intermediary to write in our place, etc. So, for the time being at least, no participant will be blocked from this website. The administration still reserves the right to require the creation of an account to participate if it were to become necessary.

I'm doing my best. The only
I'm doing my best. The only thing I can provide is transparency, which is how I think everyone will come to understand our bounds. Maybe if I had a few days I could just write up a bunch of rules, but I don't want to be the only one deciding. For now, I am since I'm the only person doing administration of moderation for the site.
I don't understand what you're trying to say about Nadeau.
